December 12, 2023 – we are starting the official sale of the completely new MaxiEcu 3 software in a multiplatform version for Windows and Android.
MaxiEcu 3 is a new, independent product with different features, functionalities and requirements. To use the MaxiEcu 3 version, you need a 4 GEN or Expert interface (interface with a 10-character serial number), Windows 10 or newer in 64-bit version / Android 8 or newer. The scope of available MaxiEcu 3 support can be checked in the search engine on our website in the FUNCTIONALITIES section (above the search engine there will be a button with the words “MaxiEcu 2” or “MaxiEcu 3” / the active button will be in red.
Users with MaxiEcu 2 licenses – changing to MaxiEcu 3 is not mandatory or necessary. MaxiEcu 2 and MaxiEcu 3 are separate licenses. MaxiEcu 2 remains active software with all its features. If you have a MaxiEcu 2 license and you also want to have a new, second license for MaxiEcu 3, you will be able to use the promotional Transfer Offer (details below).
MAXIECU 2 USERS WITH 4GEN OR EXPERT INTERFACE.
For example, you have an interface connected to a MaxiEcu 2 license for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford. You can so:
- do nothing, stay with 5 brands on the MaxiEcu 2 license. If you need a new brand for MaxiEcu 2 – let us know via the FORM on the User account and we will prepare a link to order online
or
- use the Transfer Offer and purchase MaxiEcu 3 licenses at a promotional price for the same (quantity and type) brands as you currently have on the MaxiEcu 2 license. This means that after using the Transfer Offer you will have 2 products/2 softwares: MaxiEcu 3 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford and MaxiEcu 2 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford. The price of the Transfer Offer depends on the number of brands you have – the more brands you have on the MaxiEcu 2 license, the lower the unit price for the brand on the MaxiEcu 3 license. The offer will be on the User account in the LICENSES section.
or
- resign from the Transfer Offer and purchase access for a single brand/brands in MaxiEcu 3, according to the standard price list for extensions (new brands). For example, you can purchase only the BMW brand in MaxiEcu 3 and then you will have 2 products/2 software: MaxiEcu 3 for the BMW brand and MaxiEcu 2 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford. Or another example: you can purchase the Mitsubishi, Volvo brands in MaxiEcu 3 and then you will have 2 products/2 software: MaxiEcu 3 for the Mitsubishi, Volvo brand and MaxiEcu 2 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford.
The purchase of an extension (new brand) to MaxiEcu 3 will be possible through the User account in the LICENSES section. After paying for the order – the selected brand/brands will be automatically generated and added to the MaxiEcu 3 license.
MAXIECU 2 USERS WITH THE OLD VERSION MPM-COM INTERFACE
The MPM-COM interface model is no longer available for sale since 2020. You can use it, although this interface model has technical limitations in supporting newer protocols. However, you do not have to buy a new set with a license. You can take advantage of the promotional exchange offer, in which your MPM-COM interface model will be remotely removed from our database and replaced with a new 4GEN or Expert* model. Thanks to this, you will already have access to all previously owned brands on the new interface. Additionally, you can combine the interface exchange offer with the MaxiEcu 3 Transfer Offer.
For example, you have an interface connected to a MaxiEcu 2 license for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford. You can so:
- do nothing, stay with the MPM-COM interface with 5 brands licensed for MaxiEcu 2, but remember that this interface may already have difficulties in supporting newer protocols. If you need a new brand for MaxiEcu 2 – let us know via the FORM in your User account and we will prepare a link for online ordering
or
you can only replace the interface and use the Exchange Offer for the 4GEN or Expert model. So after using the Exchange Offer you will have: a new interface (4GEN or Expert) with the license as now, i.e. MaxiEcu 2 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford. Having the new interface you will have open possibilities to change the licenses to the new MaxiEcu 3 (see the description above “MaxiEcu 2 users with 4GEN or Expert interface”). So if you want to replace your MPM-COM interface, but you are not interested in the new MaxiEcu 3 software – let us know via the application forms in the User account. Write whether you prefer the Exchange Offer for the 4GEN or Expert model, and we will prepare a link to the order.

you can exchange the interface and purchase a new license using the Special Transfer Offer. This means that after using such an offer you will have a new interface connected to 2 software licenses: MaxiEcu 3 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford and MaxiEcu 2 for 5 brands: Audi, BMW, Citroen, Dacia, Ford.

As of December 11, 2023, we are ending the sale of extensions (additional brands) for the MaxiEcu 2 version directly through orders on the User’s account in the LICENSES section.
We will generate licenses on that day on an ongoing basis until 23:59.
From December 12, 2023 – if you need a new brand for MaxiEcu 2, please send a request via FORMS on the User’s account with information about the brand you need. In response, we will generate a special link to the order.
Orders for new brands for MaxiEcu 2 will be processed as usual – after the payment has been posted, during the working hours of our Sales Department, i.e. on working days from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 and 15:00.
From December 12, 2023 – orders placed through the User’s account in the LICENSES section will only apply to the sale of extensions (additional brands) to the MaxiEcu 3 software license. The order for a new brand for MaxiEcu 3 will be fulfilled automatically, so after the payment is posted – the new brand will be immediately generated and added to the MaxiEcu 3 license.

Our functionality search engine is already being prepared for the new MaxiEcu 3.0 software. For this reason, we introduced the latest updates (January / February 2023) in MaxiEcu 2.0 “quietly” without publishing a list of new diagnostics or changes in the search engine on our website. From February 2023, our latest Expert interface is available for sale. “Ironman” among devices for professional use. Strong, aluminum construction will withstand workshop conditions. We have also added electronic components that allow for even greater range of Bluetooth and Wifi connection. For those who prefer a classic wireless connection – the set also includes a USB cable and a durable cable with a stabilizing mount for the OBD socket.
What else? Expert is adapted to work with 24V installations, so as soon as we add support in the software – no problem and no worries about failures, you will be able to connect the interface to the installations in trucks. Expert is also adapted to the remote addition of new protocols.
Information for Users of 4th generation interfaces (the so-called “Batmans”) – don’t worry, you don’t need to replace your interfaces. The 4th generation still remains a great option and, in our opinion, the most optimal variant for private use. Expert was created for professional use, in conditions that are not always conducive to keeping the equipment clean and not exposed to daily durability testing 🙂
However, if you have a 4th generation or even older MPM-COM interface and want to change to the Expert interface – please contact us via the application form in the User’s account – our Sales Department has also prepared an offer for this occasion.
Ps. For all those who have more than once forgotten to disconnect the interface from the socket – Expert also has a special sound signaling reminding you to leave the device plugged into the socket.
EDIT: from April 20, 2021 – we have introduced a new method of logging in to the User’s account. As LOGIN you need to enter the e-mail address that is assigned to the account and license (instead of the interface serial number)

We’ve received reports that you don’t always remember your serial number. Besides, we know that it is easy to make a mistake by entering a sequence of characters in which each symbol has meaning (and sometimes it is easy to confuse the letter “O” with the number “0” 😊).

Most websites currently offer logging in with an e-mail address and we know that most of you are used to this method.
☑ Additional benefits
Especially for Users who have several interfaces. Now, having several interfaces, you have to log in separately to the account assigned to a given device. After the change – after logging in, a list of your devices will be displayed.
It will also be more advantageous for Users who decide to replace the interface with a newer generation. After the exchange – the serial number of the interface changed, and therefore the login. If the login is an e-mail, even after removing the old interface – login will be unchanged.
The unified login method also gives you more opportunities to introduce further improvements that we are planning. So we hope that you will quickly find out about the advantages of an e-mail address as a login to the User’s account. We will inform you about the introduction of the change 😊
We present a completely new application – MAXI327 – for car diagnostics in the OBD standard. An application created by the MaxiEcu team – especially for people who want to have access to check basic parameters, fault codes or performance via mobile devices with the Android system. Specially designed, modern cockpits not only provide insight into the necessary data, but also provide the ability to export to a spreadsheet and share the results in a graphical form. Simple, convenient and without any license – the application is free and can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
Important: people who already have a User account on the MaxiEcu website, after downloading the application, should log in by entering the password to their account and the e-mail address assigned to their license.

What is the MaxiTools app for?
Thanks to the multiplexer built into the MaxiEcu (MPM-COM) interface, the program allows you to activate the operating mode exactly the same as the ELM 327. You can also choose to change to the VAG-KKL mode and the advanced K-Line mode. Correct modification of the settings in the advanced mode will make no need for any adapters. MaxiTools also has the MaxiEcu interface test function, with which you can check whether the multiplexer is working properly.
